Student sport association “Nautilus” has been active for the last three years with the goal of improving and promoting the sport life of the students. Besides the application for the university Unisport league, the association organizes two humanitarian tournaments, one in futsal for the last three years and the other in 3x3 basketball, organized for the last two years. The academic year 2016/2017 was the most successful according to the number of points gained for the Faculty of Maritime Studies since the existence of Unisport league, precisely owing to the efforts and gathering of athletes of the Student Sport Association “Nautilus”. Besides the events related to the Unisport league and the two humanitarian tournaments, since the academic year 2016/2017 our sportsmen participate in the international university tournament Vedran Jelavić Memorial in Dubrovnik, where the volleyball female team and male basketball team compete. Also, for the first time, the students of the Faculty of Maritime Studies have the opportunity to participate in the international meeting of technical faculties – Elektrijada, which will be held in Budva in 2017. That is where our students may compete in eight sports in male and female categories, but besides sports, there is also the competition in knowledge and lots of fun, exchanging experiences and friendships with colleagues from the entire region. The president of the association “Nautilus” is Filip Rumora and the vice-president is Luka Maržić.
