POM-F-RI is a carnival association of the students of the Faculty of Maritime Studies and their friends. This association has successfully represented the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka at the International Carnival in Rijeka, as well as other carnivals in Croatia and abroad. Besides participating in the carnival procession, we are also engaged in other activities; from carnival sports games and the Carnival Queen Pageant to the humanitarian action of donating blood within the project Dobri pust pomaže djeci. It should also be pointed out that we were the originators and organizers of the burning of the culprit for all the evils, Pust, in the Rijeka harbour basin, which is also the final event of the carnival activities in Rijeka. The president of the POM-F-RI association is Marko Radošević, student of the Faculty.
